Deciding whether or not to hire a financial planner can be a painstaking and often touchy subject.  It is an excellent way to help deal with financial solutions but is typically difficult because you never truly know whether the planner has your best interests in mind.  The debate isn’t necessarily whether you should or should not hire a planner for financial solutions but rather finding the right “coach” who does their job to benefit you rather than themselves.
